Rhody braids in two fiber families. The 100% polypropylene collections are rated for indoor and outdoor use — sun, rain, patios, mudrooms, poolside. The blended collections trade weather resistance for a softer hand and are built for interior rooms. Both are hand-sewn in Rhode Island and ship in 3–5 business days.

Flat braid, knitted core, locked stitch.
Every Rhody rug starts as loose yarn, gets braided flat into a continuous rope, and is then coiled and hand-sewn into shape one pass at a time. Flat braid is the traditional method and the longer-lasting of the two. The core is a knitted synthetic tube rather than the recycled scrap most braided-rug makers pack theirs with — it does not absorb water, it cleans up easily, and it is why a Rhody rug can weigh up to 15% more than the one next to it.

- Flat braid, coiled and hand-sewn with Clearlon monofilament thread. No backing to delaminate, no printed pattern to wear off.

- 100% two-ply texturized polypropylene for indoor/outdoor; polypropylene-nylon blends for softer interior rugs.

- Fifteen standard sizes, 2'x3' through 10'x13', plus 2'x6', 2'x8' and 2'x10' runners.
